Recent Custom Jewellery

Since the past few months have been so hectic, I am only getting a chance to share some of the lovely custom pieces we made for Christmas. These were ordered in October through our Custom Jewellery Page.

Having seen our range of handmade Silver Cufflinks, we were asked If we could create a custom pair engraved similar to our custom Irish Family Crest cufflinks. The customer chose a square curved design which we engraved with a rampant lion emblem to represent 'Love'. We recommended hand engraving rather than etching as much of the detail would have been lost in the etched silhouette .

On another customer design, the concept was entirely our customer's own idea. She had seen Lauren Conrad's 'Love' ring and wanted a unique Irish version! So we went about designing the ring with the word 'Grá' which is a beautiful Irish word for love. A word which is also very popular in many of our Ladies Jewelry range. Once we had the ring cut out and rounded up, we carefully set it with lots of tiny sparkling stones. Below is a photo of the ring on my bench before we added the stones, along with the ring after finishing and polishing was completed.

For our next customers design, they asked if I could create a Claddagh motif but engraved in to a wide silver band similar to the band on our Ogham White Gold Ring. We worked on recreating Claddagh in a stronger geometric style with the hands represented as a series of lines carved in to the ring. Once the sketches were complete and the customer was happy with the design we created this piece in silver.

The inspiration for this next piece came from a Celtic window to the soul pendant. The customer also asked for a beautiful inscription to be added to the back of the piece. We loved working on this pendant as the customer gave us the opportunity to use our creativity to engrave any type of knotwork making it a truly unique Claddagh Design for our customer. I think the finished piece looks pretty good!
