New Irish Jewelry Designs by Eileen Moylan
'The Ard Collection'
Claddagh Design new collection of Irish jewelry has now been added to our online store. Each piece has been inspired, designed and handcrafted in Ireland by expert sivlersmith and jewelry designer Eileen Moylan.
The collection is inspired by the striking forms of the medieval Ogham standing stones which can be seen in Dunloe in County Kerry. These magnificent collection standing stones have been designated an National Monument, the preservation of which is deemed of national importance to Ireland and to our Irish heritage. With ‘Ard’ meaning high in the Irish language, the new pieces echo the tall forms of these stones. Each piece of silver jewelry from the new collection has been engraved with beautiful Irish sentiments in secret Ogham messages and ornate Celtic fonts. The designs also include green Connemara Marble to contrast with the finely polished finish of these sterling silver pendants and bracelets. Our Connemara marble has been sourced directly from County Galway, on the rugged west coast of Ireland.
