Look to her current jewellery collection for reference on the colour of the precious metal she likes to wear. Does she wear silver or yellow gold?
Sterling silver is an ideal choice for a promise ring for the proposal. However, by its very nature, it is a softer metal than gold, platinum, and palladium and it will wear over time. If she wears silver jewellery, we recommend opting for white gold to take daily wear over a lifetime.

We use high-quality recycled metal to minimize our impact on the environment without compromising. Mining for ore displaces animals from their natural habitat and damages large expanses of plant life.
All of our leftover precious metals are melted and reused to create beautiful new pieces. This reduces demand to dig the earth for ore and the requirement to use harsh chemicals in the purification process.
4. Selecting your gemstone
Our engagement rings can be set with a wide variety of gemstones. From a classic sparkling diamond to contemporary moissanite, vibrant emeralds, or light blue aquamarine, we would be happy to guide you through your choices.

The first of the four C’s refers to the shape of stone. Diamonds come in a variety of cuts - round, pear, emerald cut… Each cut reflects light in its own unique way.
Carat refers to the weight of your precious stone.
Colour, simply put refers to the colour of the stone. With emeralds, sapphires, and other engagement ring stones, we search for the most vibrant colours. With diamonds, we look for the clearest white stones available within your budget.
Clarity refers to the number of inclusions. Made by nature, almost all diamonds feature inclusions. Diamonds are graded on how inclusions impact the gem’s appearance.
Ethical Considerations: We source the best possible gemstone available within your budget. We will only ever use ethically source gemstones and we insist our suppliers adhere to the Kimberly Process.
5. Sizing
Finding your loved one’s finger size can be challenging. There are lots of different ways to be found online to take her size and different methods will work well for different people.
- A professionally measured ring size will always be the preferred method. However, we understand this may not always be possible. If you can borrow a ring they wear on their engagement ring finger, any jeweler can measure for size within a minute.
- Enlist the help of a trusted family member or friend. Try on rings in jewellers. Once they find a ring that fits nicely, they can return to get the ring measured for her size.
- For customers ordering rings from our online collection or creating a custom engagement ring from us, we can provide you with a ring sizer. This will allow you to find a creative way to measure their exact ring size.
