How many characters can be engraved on your personalized Ogham jewellery?
It really depends on the design and the Ogham translation, as some Ogham letters are longer than those in the modern alphabet.
- Ogham Family Pendant (longer style): Can fit up to three words or names – one on each side.
- Ogham Rings: Can be engraved around the band, usually fitting one to two words vertically.
- Smaller Ogham Pendant: Can hold one word or name on each side.
Is Claddagh Design jewellery sustainable and ethically sourced?
Our unique jewellery designs are crafted by hand. Each design is made to last ensuring your precious piece can be worn and enjoyed for a lifetime and more. We create treasures that can one day to be passed down to future generations.
In order to minimise our impact on the environment, we only ever use high-quality 100% recycled sterling silver and gold in our workshop ♻️ All of the metal used in our workshop is also nickel free.
By choosing recycled precious metals, we play a small part in reducing demand for mined ore. Mining metal ore not only damages plant life but also displaces wildlife. For this reason, all of our jewellery is made from pre-loved pieces and leftover silver and gold. These are melted down to create beautiful shiny new jewellery.
Our trusted gemstone supplier is fully certified by the non-for-profit Responsible Jewelry Council (RJC) and strictly operates under the Kimberly Process. Our diamonds are ethically sourced from conflict free zones.
We also offer a wide variety of alternative gemstones including man-made stones and lab-grown diamonds. Contact us directly to explore your options.
