Update 21/02/2018: See our updated current list of stockists on our Claddagh Design FAQ We just put another order together for one of our lovely new stockists Tregan Craft Centre in Cobh, Co. Cork. Tregan is based right in the middle of Cobh town with gorgeous views of Cobh Cathedral and the Celtic Sea. They are right on the edge of the shore ready to welcome all the cruise ships that dock in the town.
We first met Sonia from Tregan at Showcase Ireland in January, since then we've been supplying their shop with a large selection of our Claddagh Design range. We took a trip down to Cobh to deliver an order last month, it was great to stroll around the town. Here are just a few photos from that day.
Tregan is in a great spot as it is right next door to the Titanic Experience Centre. Cobh is well known for being the last stop the Titanic made before making its crossing to America. The Titanic experience opened its doors last year and is well worth a visit. It's a great interactive exhibition which takes you through the history of the Titanic. When you arrive you are given a name of an original passenger on the Titanic so you're seeing the voyage through their eyes. It's not until the end do you discover whether you're assigned person survived or not. It's a great way to bring history to life and give you a sense of what trans Atlantic travel must have been like at the time.
